What is it?
Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote is a screening of an episode of Murder, She Wrote with games, quizzes, commentary and laughs.
I've never seen the TV show before. Will I enjoy it?
Absolutely! Newbies are guided through the history of the episode and you'll soon appreciate the wonder that is JB Fletcher and the uselessness of the police officers she encounters while she solves the crime.
I've seen the show a lot and actually remember who the killer is for the episode you're screening. Does that matter?
Not at all! Given that the show was first screened in 1984 there's always some audience members who have seen it. Solving the crime is a collaborative effort using the Fameometer and the Suspiciometer - but I don't want to give too much away!
Do you show a different episode every time?
Yes, we don't repeat an episode at the same venue, but when I hit a new town I'll start with the classic episode "Birds of a Feather". It's also always made clear when you book tickets which show I'll be screening.
Do you have permission to do this?
Absolutely. We've been granted a licence with kind permission of NBC Universal Television, and we're grateful for their support.
